Reintroducing Myself, Mission and Vision

As I stand at the crossroads of technology, social impact, and gender equity, I find it essential to reintroduce myself and share the journey that has brought me here—and where it’s taking me next.

I am a Multi-passionate co-founder at KsGEN, Core23lab, & W-power, a Community Engagement Fellow at Mozilla, a National Geographic Explorer, and one of the 100 brilliant women in AI ethics 2024. My work revolves around the belief that technology, when developed ethically and inclusively, can be a force for good, transforming lives and communities.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects that blend my passions for gender equity, technology, and social impact. My exploration in these areas is not just professional—it’s deeply personal. From my involvement in shaping ICT policy that includes marginalized voices, to my active research on how technology intersects with gender, I’ve always been driven by a desire to create a world where innovation serves everyone.

Being recognized as a National Geographic Explorer allowed me to take this mission into uncharted territories—literally and figuratively. Through my expeditions and research, I’ve been able to document stories that highlight the crucial intersection of technology and the environment, advocating for solutions that are as sustainable as they are innovative.

As I continue to elevate, so too will my work and the impact I aim to have. Here’s what you can expect from me and my platforms going forward:

  1. I’ll be sharing more insights and thought leadership on how we can develop AI technologies that are both innovative and inclusive. Expect articles, case studies, and discussions on how to close the gender gap in tech, with a focus on bringing more women into leadership roles in ICT policy.
  2. Whether I’m on an expedition as a National Geographic Explorer or working on a groundbreaking project with KsGEN, Core23lab, or W-power, I’ll be giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the processes, challenges, and triumphs. My goal is to make my work as transparent and engaging as possible, so you feel a part of this journey.
  3. As a multi-passionate entrepreneur and researcher, collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I’ll be highlighting opportunities for fellow founders, donors, and community members to engage with my work—whether through joint ventures, funding opportunities, or community-building initiatives.
  4. Every project, every piece of research, and every collaboration I embark on is driven by a desire to make a tangible impact. Moving forward, I’ll be sharing more about how my work is making a difference on the ground—both in terms of social impact and environmental sustainability.

As I reintroduce myself, I invite you to join me on this journey. Whether you’re a fellow founder, a potential donor, or someone who shares my passion for ethical technology and gender equity, there’s a place for you in this story.

Together, we can create a future where technology uplifts everyone, where gender equity is not just a goal but a reality, and where every innovation is a step towards a better world.

Thank you for being part of this journey so far. I’m excited about what the future holds, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
